So, I find myself more and more concerned with the niche I have chosen. I know that Action Plan pertains to creating passive income. That isn't the area that I am overly concerned with. I know that I can make that work. Where my mind starts wandering, though, is in regards to the Action Plan: The Journey to Financial Freedom YouTube channel. The channel focuses on my personal journey to build 10 streams of passive income on my road to financial freedom, however, that is an extremely large category. So many topics fall under the "passive income" umbrella, as it were, including, real estate rental properties, crypto mining, blogging and the list goes on.
My challenge now is trying to decide the direction in which I want the channel to progress. Do I keep it as a broader topic channel or do I start to chisel away until I begin to find a target niche. Other questions I ask myself are what am I bringing to the table within the "passive income" space that is different from all the other channels that flood YouTube? Is it my bubbly personality, is it the journey aspect, or is it motivation? These are the things that run through my head every night before I go to bed and remain there in the mornings, as I wake up.
Obviously, my channel is new and so is Action Plan as a company. Be that as it may, I still want to have a laser focused idea of the direction I want to proceed with the channel as a whole. What happens after my journey comes to an end and I reach my 10 income streams in the 2 years? I need to find a topic within the "passive income" genre that will allow for longevity on the YouTube platform. I need to focus on what sets me apart. Why should people watch my channel?
I have been contemplating on this all day. Torn between, what I want to do and what I want to achieve. As for what I want to do with my channel, well, I really just want to take people along for the journey. Ultimately, though, I want the channel to grow a following that will become part of my passive income streams. Anyway, so thinking about this all day, i realized what was most important, not only to the building of the Action Plan channel, but also my other income streams I am working on. That is driving traffic. So my topic or niche for the Action Plan channel can focus of driving traffic to generate passive income. That allows me to focus on one topic within the Passive Income genre, however, I still on some level get to focus my energy on following the journey of Action Plan as I implement these strategies.
Now, I need to focus on crating a central hub in which to funnel traffic and then drive to the various sources, such as YouTube, the store, Instagram, and the blog.
